Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Govt. College, Begumganj District Raisen is situated on the Sagar-Bhopal Streetway Distrit Raisen. Hence the college provides easy access to students coming from the surrounding rural areas. The college started its journey in 1983 with a small space provided to it by the present Government near dashera maidan, Begumganj. At the time of its inception, UG classes in arts,commerce & Science were conducted in the college. The college is situated 125 kilometers away from the capital of the state. However students wishing to pursue graduation prefer to get enrolled here because of its easy access and its commitment to provide quality higher education for which the college has been striving since its inception. The institution is affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal. From 2023 PG also be introduced in all stream. The college is also recognized as the examination centre for private college located in the village.Though the college lacks some infrastructural facilities required for rendering graduation programmes’, it has been making untiring efforts to realize the vision and the mission with which the college started its journey.
